Our Mission: "Knowing Jesus, Loving All"

Core Values and Descriptive Statements:

We believe God wants us to show, encourage and share with leaders open to all ideas, providing an encouraging atmosphere, and being supportive of each other. (Judges 6:11-16; John 21:15-19; Acts 6:1-7)
We believe we need to develop an outreach and skill to help others put God and others first. Knowing God and getting to know others is the means of uniting the church and community. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; John 14:34-35; Acts 2:46-47)
We believe that God inspires the desire in us to help others. (Matthew 25:31-46; Acts 2:45; Acts 4:34-36)
We believe we should be accountable for all of God's gifts, for by the example of our faithful stewardship we help our community and our world. (1 Peter 4:10-11; 1 Corinthians 4:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-15)
We believe that God wants to capture hearts and minds as we joyfully worship Jesus in spirit and in truth producing faithful followers of Jesus Christ. (John 4:21-26; Romans 12:1-2)
We believe the Bible is the true and inspired word of God, and therefore we place high priority on the teaching, discussion, and life application of Scripture. Scripture gives us the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. It is God's way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 1 Peter 1:22-25)
We believe we need to be intentional in our prayer life. We pray for wisdom and strength to know God's purpose and to be faithful in doing his work. The health of our spiritual lives and the mission of our church body is fueled by prayer. Therefore we need to emphasize the importance of prayer and help cultivate this discipline. (1 Chronicles 7:14; James 5:15-16; Philippians 4:6-7)
